SEX AND ADVERTISING

OUR EXPERIENCE!

19 August 2013 was the day we got to know one another. It was the first lesson of this module and our first lesson in SMU, at least for all of us in this group, and we had to pick our groups. The 6 of us were sitting in the same row, so we conveniently formed a group. We came from different backgrounds, different schools and for some of us different countries. 

 

This brought diversity to the group, having different opinions and different mind-sets. Though diversity might sometimes prove to be a challenge for teams to work together, we made it work for us, using our individual strengths to the team’s advantage. Yet many a times we still met with obstacles, but we were able to overcome it together. 

 

 

Overall, TWC has changed our mind-sets, making us open to new ideas and viewpoints. It has taught us not to limit our thoughts and perspectives, embrace others, welcome their inputs and most of all to work together as a team. 

 

 

TWC has given us the opportunity to strive together, and we have to thank you for that!
